Roff Non-Skid Adhesive is a polymer-modified tile adhesive used to fix vitrified tiles, semi-vitrified tile, ceramic and natural stones in indoor areas. It is ideal for application on tile and stone of standard small sizes. This is one of the best tile adhesives that is suitable for tile-on-tile application and for application on walls and floors of indoor spaces. Mapisa 369 C1T Silver Grey Tile Adhesive is a polymer modified cement based adhesive for ceramic & vitrified tiles on wall and floor. i.e (30x45, 30x60, 60x60 cm, etc.) 

How to use:

• Before laying or fixing the tiles the surface must thoroughly cleaned from dust, dirt, oil, grease, wax, polish etc.
• Pour water into an empty bucket. Add 3 parts adhesive powder and 1 part of water (pour 6-7 ltr. water for a 20kg bag).Addition of water shall be adjusted to attain desired consistency.
• Use the flat side first and then the serrated trowel to spread the adhesive to the required thickness. The tile should be installed within 10 to 15 minutes strictly immediate after spreading the adhesive paste.
• Place the tiles on the surface to be tiled and tap the tiles lightly so that the back side of the tiles can be completely fixed.
• Allow the tiling set for 24 hours and fill the joints with tile grout the next day.
• Lets stick forever.

• Strictly do not add extra cement or sand with the adhesive.

How to apply:

Substrate: The surface to be covered with Ceramic tile shall be sound and confirm to good design, rigid, clean and free of dirt, oil, grease, curing compounds, form release agents or loose plaster and paint. For economy the surfaces should be level and true with in: Walls – 3mm in 2.5m Floors – 1.5mm in 1.0m

Surface Preparation:

• If a plaster/leveling mortar bed is applied, ensure that it is cured for at least 7 days to achieve proper strength before application of tile adhesive for installation of tile
• Ensure the substrate is clean and free from impurities like dust, dirt, debris, oil, grease, curing agents, loose plaster etc
• Dampen the wall before application of thin set adhesive
• Clean the back of tile for any dust or coating

Mixing: The products can be mixed by hand or slow speed electric drill mixer (less than 300 rpm). Pour potable clean water in a clean container and then add the powder LATAFIX® 305 and mix until the mixture becomes creamy and plastic. Do not over mix. Leave the mix to slake for 5-10 min and remix before use. Mix only sufficient quantity of adhesive for immediate need.

Proportion: Approximately 1 bag of LATAFIX® 305 with 5-6 ltrs of water. Adjust quantity of liquid to obtain proper consistency.

• The Substrate Must Be Cement Laitance Free, Clean And Free From Dirt, Oil, Grease Or Other Contaminants And Loose Or Friable Particles. The Substrate Must Be Perfectly Flat, Sound And Free From Parts Easily Removed, Non-Deformable And Correctly Aged. For Builds Greater Than 10mm Thick, Use The Appropriate Sika Monotop® Or Sika® Level Product(S).
• Sikaceram-155 Is Applied Directly On Plasters And Cementitious Substrates, Cement-Lime Mortars, Concrete, Plasterboard, Floater Finished Concrete.

 

Mixing

Mix The Contents Of A 25 Kg Bag With The Required Amount Of Water (As Specified Above), Using An Electric Mixer And A Suitable Mixing Spiral At Low Speed, In A Clean Bucket. Do Not Exceed A Mixing Speed Of 500 Rpm As Doing So May Reduce The Final Strength Of The Cured Product. Mix To Obtain A Smooth Paste Free Of Lumps. After Mixing, Leave The Product For 5 Minutes, Then Briefly Stir The Mixture Prior To Application. This Should Result In A Very Creamy, Easily Spreadable, And Highly Thixotropic Adhesive.

Application

• Sikaceram-155 Is Applied Using A Notched Trowel. The Amount Of Product Should Be Enough To Ensure Complete Wetting Of The Tile. Tiling Has To Be Carried Out On Fresh Adhesive, Exerting An Adequate Pressure To Ensure Contact With The Adhesive To Form A Full Bond. If A Surface Film Has Formed On The Adhesive, It Is Necessary To Trowel Over The Previously Applied Adhesive Layer. Avoid Wetting The Adhesive Already Applied With Water.
• To Lay Tiles Sized 900 cm² (E.G. 30 X 30 cm) Or Larger, The Double-Spreading (Buttering) Thin-Bed Consistency Or Single-Spreading Flow-Bed Consistency Techniques Of Adhesive Application Is Always Recommended.

Cleaning Of Tools

• Clean All Tools And Application Equipment With Water Immediately After Use. 
• Hardened Material Can Only Be Mechanically Removed.
